Privacy and traffic reporting

How Website Rotator measures visits while limiting personal-data collection.

Cookies

Essential session cookies protect member and administrator sign-in. Your privacy-banner selection is saved for one year in the wr_privacy_choice preference cookie. The aggregate reporting layer does not place advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Traffic measurement

Reports may include the requested page, date, campaign or rotator identifier, referring hostname, device category, bot family, and approximate country, region, and city. For the new aggregate reports, an IP address is used transiently for location lookup and converted with the user agent into a rotating one-way daily visitor hash. The aggregate reporting tables do not store the raw IP address or full referring URL. Existing delivery-accounting tables and hosting logs are separate systems and may contain network-address information for security, click integrity, or operational purposes.

Access and retention

Administrators can view site-wide aggregates. Signed-in members can view only reporting rows assigned to their own pages, banners, URLs, and rotators. CSV downloads follow the same ownership rules. Aggregate reporting retention defaults to 400 days and can be changed by the administrator; operational web-server logs are controlled separately by the hosting provider.

Your choice

Selecting “Essential only” prevents any future optional cookie from being enabled without a new choice. Aggregate, cookie-free operational reporting may still occur. You can clear the preference cookie in your browser to display the choice again.
